There is a $500 non-refundable booking fee to hold your dates on the PRRC calendar. The $500 will be applied to the cost of your immersion. If your group cancels, this fee will not be returned. With COVID affecting travel and trips we will work with you if we are unable to host your group due to COVID related requirements. Final numbers for your group are due 2 weeks before your arrival, this number will be considered your guaranteed count. Groups will be billed for their guaranteed count or the actual number who show up in Pine Ridge, whichever is higher.
Additional Fees
Small Group Gratuity Fee If your group has fewer than 10 people in it, there will be an additional gratuity added to your cost to help ensure we can cover all expenses and give your group a meaningful experience. Please use the table below to determine the additional gratuity for your group size
Service Project If your group is expecting to do a work project, there will be a $500 service project fee. This fee will cover the cost of materials and associated expenses. The total costs of the projects will vary, but the fee will be set at $500 with the hope that the overall costs/funds will balance at the end of the year. The members of the Job Corps work on projects throughout the year; this fee will help us to cover some of the material costs associated with work projects. If your team is not doing a work project, your team will not incur this cost.
Dream Catchers If your group is interested, there may be an opportunity to create dream catchers with some of our cultural guides. Dream catchers cost an additional $10/person.
Lakota Meals If your group is interested, there may be an opportunity to eat a modern or traditional Lakota meal. A modern meal of Indian Tacos costs $2.50 per person. This cost covers the bread; the group will provide all of their own toppings. A traditional meal of Buffalo soup and bread may also be available. This costs $12/person with a minimum of 10 people.
